Baptism Sunday Recap: May 4, 2025

What a powerful and joy-filled day we experienced on Baptism Sunday, May 4, 2025, at ALKFM! We witnessed 18 believers publicly declare their faith through the beautiful act of baptism — an outward expression of the inward transformation that has taken place in their lives through Christ Jesus.

Each testimony, each step into the water, and each moment of celebration was a reminder of God’s grace and the new life we have in Him. As the Word reminds us in 1 Peter 3:21 (NLT):“And that water is a picture of baptism, which now saves you, not by removing dirt from your body, but as a response to God from a clean conscience. It is effective because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”

We are trusting God for newness, growth, and transformation in each of these lives, and in our church family, as we continue to walk in obedience and faith.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support, encourage, and celebrate with us on this unforgettable occasion. Your presence helped make the day even more special, and we’re grateful for the love and unity of this community.
