Text to Give to our Church!

We're excited to announce our church now offers Text-to-Give! 

As less people are using checks or carrying cash, our church aims to offer a safe means for you to give online, while providing you the most convenient way possible to offer a gift of support to our church. As many of you are streaming our services online, this new way of giving will be more convenient than mailing a check, though you are welcome to continue to do so if you prefer. 

Through our new online giving platform, you can give your tithes or make a voluntary contribution to our church. Our church does pay a small transaction fee to process online payments, but we feel the fee is well worth the convenience! If you choose to, you are able to cover that fee for the church at the same time you give. 

Here is how you can offer a gift of support to our church using Text-to-Give: 

First time Text-to-Give users

1. Depending on how you'd like to direct your giving, text the keyword TITHE or GIVE and the amount to (919) 759-6462 (Example: TITHE 100). Please keep in mind there must be a space between the keyword and amount. If only an amount is texted without a keyword, the funds will go to our default tithe category.

2. First time users will receive a text with a link to sign into their SecureGive account or create a new account. Tap on the link to begin the setup process. This link will expire after a few hours. If your link expires, simply repeat step one again to receive a new link.

3. ​Once you are signed in, if you already have a saved payment method, then make sure to select it as your Preferred Payment method. If you do not have a saved payment method, then click the Add Payment Method button.

4. Tap to complete your first transaction. You will see a confirmation that your transaction has processed and you will also receive an email receipt.

Returning Text-to-Give users

1. ​Depending on how you'd like to direct your giving, text the keyword TITHE or GIVE and the amount to (919) 759-6462 (Example: TITHE 100). Please keep in mind there must be a space between the keyword and amount. If only an amount is texted without a keyword, the funds will go to our default tithe category.

2. You will then receive a message to confirm with Y or cancel with N.

3. After replying Y, you'll receive a text confirmation that your transaction was processed, and you will also receive an email receipt.

How to update your payment method and manage your account

1. Text the word "Update" to (919) 759-6462.

2. Tap the link that is messaged to you.

3. Sign into your account to update your payment method and manage your account.

If you have multiple saved payment methods in your profile, you can easily change which one your Text to Give transactions will process toward. You can do that by following the steps below.

1. Sign in to your profile at app.securegive.com.

2. In the My Account menu, click on Payment Methods.

3. Click Edit on the payment method you want to use for Text to Give transactions.

4. Click the Set as preferred payment method text. You will now see the payment method listed as preferred.

Additional Information

• We recommend that you save our church's text number as a contact in your phone for future use.

• If you'd like some extra Text To Give tips, you can text a question mark "?" to our church's text number.

• If you would like to be shown the available keywords for our church, then text the word "Keyword".  

How to unsubscribe from our Text To Give number

• If you text "Stop" or "End" to our Text To Give number, you will not receive any more messages from us. In order to begin receiving text messages again, text the word "Start" to the church's Text To Give number.
